Shalonda Mixon, sister of Bengals running back Joe Mixon, pleads not guilty in case related to Nerf Wars

“This is case number B2301142-B, Shalonda Marie Mixon,” a court official said. “She was charged with one count of tampering with evidence and one count of obstructing justice. Did you receive a copy of your indictment?”

“She did,” defense attorney Mike Allen said.

“And how do you plead? asked the court worker.

“Not guilty,” Allen said.

” OK. Regarding the deposit? said Chief Magistrate Anita Berding.

“We agree with the state on a $5,000 10% bond,” Allen said.

Berding agreed with that bail amount and someone posted Shalonda Mixon’s bail a little after 4 p.m.

Shalonda Mixon is due back in court at the end of March for another hearing.

The fate of Lamonte Brewer, who faces four felony counts in the case, remains unknown.
