The ex-husband wants to represent the twins in court…

The battle lines are drawn

Lisa Marie Presleythe ex-husband of Michael Lockwood has filed legal documents to allow him to represent the interests of their twins at an upcoming critical hearing that involves millions of dollars.

According to the documents, obtained by TMZ, Lockwood is asking a judge to appoint him guardian ad litem – giving him the power to speak on behalf of his 14-year-old daughters at a hearing on Lisa Marie’s trust.

TMZ broke the story…that trust got flush with cash when Elvisis the only child died on January 12. As noted, Lisa Marie had 2 life insurance policies — one for $25 million and another for $10 million.

Sources connected to the family tell TMZ … there is a lot of behind-the-scenes drama about who will administer and control the trust. As we have pointed out, Priscilla Presley was a trustee but Lisa Marie ousted her from that position several years before her death and made her eldest daughter Riley the trustee in place of Priscilla.

Our sources tell us that Priscilla will challenge the validity of the trust, alleging that the change of trustees was not done properly. Riley, we’re told, doesn’t want Priscilla to take the reins, and it’s sparked a family battle.

As noted, the beneficiaries of the trust are Riley and the twins, harpist And Finley.

We’re told that Michael is aligned with Priscilla in all of this…so it would seem like the audience can draw the battle lines between Priscilla and Michael on one side and Riley on the other.
