DSEAR zones - potential ignition sources - Scaffolding assembly

With regard to hazardous areas which are designated under DSEAR as zone 0, 1 or 2, can anyone provide advice with regard to the control of potential ignition sources associated with the assembly, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding? e.g. use of spark free -tools, anti-static clothing and most suitable types of scaffolding materials?
