Use of kitchen appliances in the office. Looking for a policy on purchase and use.

A number of our business areas have domestic kitchen appliances for staff to use, such as fridges, microwaves, kettles, toasters, etc. We recognise that there are health & safety issues by having these in the workplace and are currently producing a short policy on the purchase and use of such equipment. Do any other members have a policy or guidance on the use of fridges, microwaves, etc?

Also, do members allow their business areas to purchase domestic microwaves, or are commercial grade appliances mandatory?'
