Slips, Trips and Falls

A member writes -

Our organisation is having a significant problem with slips, trips and falls - mainly with staff 'in the field' visiting premises and customer homes etc. Can any member provide successful campaign materials or other advice on a slips, trips and falls strategy to improve awareness and performance in this area?

On a related topic we have a problem in office areas with staff falling down stairs due to not holding the handrail and ladies in high heels! Does anyone stipulate footwear to wear in an office environment & if so could they advise how they went about it - we anticipate imposing restrictions on footwear could be a controversial move.
