Question 860 February 2017

Integrated HSE software tools - objective evaluation?

A major operator of UK ports, we are considering products available on the market that offer a comprehensive and integrated suite of health, safety and environmental software tools. Has any member conducted an objective evaluation of such software suites or could any member offer insights into the tools that they currently use.
A package that offers incident investigation, reporting, audit, action tracking, training, permit to work, document management, risk assessment etc would be of interest.

Our company has also launched a behaviour-based culture change program based on observation of unsafe acts (and safe acts of course); any package that also supported that strategy would be of additional interest.

Members experiences and evaluations strengths and weaknesses perhaps - would be welcome. Thank you.
