Question 858 September 2016

Amended Duties

I am currently revising our organisation's Global accident reporting policies; we have plants in the UK, America, Australia and Belgium.

I have been asked by the team in America how long we need to record amended duties for? My initial thoughts were "for as long as we have employees on amended duties" to which I have been informed that OSHA only require recording for 180 days.

We can decide to record for as long as we like, but I wondered if anyone has a policy or limit on the time (max number of days) before counting is stopped?

Any comments / feedback welcome.
